There is something in the breeze my mind just cannot ignore;
The sweet caress of scent that lures me from my room to out the door.
The way it pulls me from the ground to way up here upon the roof.
God, I don't know how, but it's beautiful, regardless, I've got proof.
And it's a combination of:
Lavender and Diet Coke.
Cinnamon and just washed hair.
I know it sounds so crazy
But believe me, it's no joke.
I just desire to eat it up:
Cinnamon and just washed hair.
Lavender and Diet Coke.
I'd walk miles and miles to find
Another scent just this fair.
I look around, but fail to find the source of my allure,
But my surrounding's so deserted, so empty, so i'm sure,
That I'll not find the person or thing ever in my life.
But still, I wish, because the smell just stabs at me like a knife.
See, the thing is fate is such a strange strange thing
Because you know what?
The basis of my crazed content of this scent suddenly walked by
And smacked me in the face until I thought that I would die.
And as suddenly as they came, they left.
What a pity.
